A1GP’s COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Tyre Change Challenge
The rules listed below form the terms and conditions of the competition (“Terms and Conditions”). Please note that by submitting an entry, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these rules.
1. Entrants may enter the competition by completing this entry form in full with true and accurate information. Entrants who provide incomplete information or who fail to tick the box agreeing to the Terms and Conditions will not be eligible to take part in this competition.
2. This competition is open to persons aged 16 and over excluding employees, contractors and immediate relatives of employees of A1 Holdings Limited, A1 Teams or of their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies or any other person professionally connected with this competition or A1GP, the A1 Teams, the track, the organisers, the FIA or any other connected party.
3. The competition must be entered by teams of two people.
4. Closing date for entries is determined by A1GP in their absolute discretion.
5. One entry per person, which must include full, complete and accurate details of the name, e-mail address and telephone number of the entrant and answers to the questions.
6. Entrants to the competition will be accepted on a “first come first served” basis. No one is guaranteed a right to enter the competition.
7. To win, an entrant must
· As a team of two, change the tyre on an A1 racing car.
· The winning team will be the one that records the fastest time for the tyre change during the competition as determined by A1GP.
· Competitors must follow all instructions, directions and advice provided by A1GP personnel.
8. The winner of this competition will be notified by telephone (mobile, if available) either immediately but in any event within fourteen days of the closing date. An announcement may also be made on the A1GP website (www.A1GP.com). Any prizes may then be sent by post to the winner together with a letter from the Promoter.
9. The tyre changing activity involves strenuous physical exertion. Entrants should not take part if they are pregnant, suffer from any medical or other condition that may be affected by physical exertion.
10. Motorsport is hazardous and entrants are voluntarily exposing themselves to risk of accident, damage, loss and/or personal injury by participating in the tyre change competition and in doing so entrants participate entirely at their own risk. Entrants acknowledge that it is necessary to behave and conduct the tyre change in a diligent and appropriate manner in light of the risks involved and entrants agree to follow and abide by the instructions of A1GP staff at all times.
11. Entrants HEREBY UNCONDITIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE and hold harmless the Promoter, A1 Teams and its or their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies and its or their shareholders, officers, employees, mechanics, agents, contractors and partners and any other organisations or persons directly connected with the tyre change competition (including in each case its or their successors and assigns) from and against any and all cause(s) of action, proceedings, claims, demands, losses, injuries, liabilities, damages, fees, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever, whether accrued, absolute, contingent or otherwise, including (without limitation), personal injury, death or disability to the entrants or damage to their property or loss of any kind suffered or sustained by the entrants directly or indirectly as a result of, attributable to or in connection with their involvement in the tyre change competition. Nothing herein is intended to limit nor shall it in any way limit any liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud. The entrants’ agreement to waive and release as provided herein is given by the entrants for and on behalf of their next of kin, heirs, beneficiaries, administrators, personal representatives and/or successors and assigns.
12. In the event that the Promoter cannot for any reason contact any winner within seven days of the closing date, the Promoter reserves the right to determine another winner.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner in their absolute discretion in the event that the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that a selected winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
15. The winners may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of acceptance of all Terms and Conditions of the competition prior to receiving their prize.
16. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.
17. The prize(s) are as stated and advertised at the competition location and are non-transferable for monetary value or otherwise. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control the Promoter is unable to provide a stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. Any prize may be subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier (if applicable) and, for the avoidance of doubt, no prize includes any payment for accommodation, delivery, transport, food and drink or any other associated items unless expressly stated in any case.
18. By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge and agree that they may be used in publicity or promotional activities without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include without limitation the entrant's name and/or likeness, voice, photographs and/or video footage of the entrant, biographical information provided by the entrants/winners and/or any statement made by them concerning the competition and/or the prizes. Entrants agree that any or all such elements may be used by the Promoter and its affiliated companies without charge in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as the Promoter in its sole discretion sees fit.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in any way to the winners and/or their guests for any losses, costs, expenses, injuries, liabilities or damages howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) attributable to, arising out of or in connection with the competition and/or prize other than death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud of the Promoter and/or the Promoter's personnel.
20. THE PROMOTER ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR ANY DELAY IN PERFORMING OR PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE TO PERFORM ANY OF ITS OBLIGATIONS TO THE WINNERS AND/OR THEIR GUESTS UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF SUCH DELAY OR FAILURE IS CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ITS REASONABLE CONTROL INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DELAYS, CHANGES, DISRUPTIONS, CANCELLATIONS, DIVERSIONS OR SUBSTITUTIONS HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION AS A RESULT OF WAR, TERRORIST ACTION OR THREATENED TERRORIST ACTION, STRIKES, HOSTILITIES, CIVIL COMMOTIONS, ACCIDENTS, FIRE, FLOOD OR NATURAL CATASTROPHES OR ARISING WITHOUT LIMITATION OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH (I) THE ACTIVITIES OF THIRD PARTY EVENT ORGANISERS; (II) ANY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FLIGHTS, TRAINS, COACHES, BUSES, FERRIES, TAXIS OR CARS); AND/OR (III) BY THIRD PARTIES PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED IN THE PRIZE. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, THE AFFECTED WINNERS AND/OR ANY GUESTS SHALL BE SOLELY LIABLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS INCURRED AS A RESULT.
21. All entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter on notice.
22. All taxes and associated costs of winning any prize will be met by and be the responsibility of the entrant.
23. If any of these Terms and Conditions is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable under any applicable law, such term will, insofar as it is severable from the remaining terms, be deemed omitted from these terms and conditions and will in no way affect the legality, validity or enforceability of the remaining Terms and Conditions.
24. These competition Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.

Sky Sports Competition
The rules listed below form the Terms and Conditions of the competition. Please note that by submitting an entry, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these rules.
1. Entrants may enter the competition by answering the competition question correctly and completing the competition entry form in full with true and accurate information. In order to validly enter the competition entrants are also required to comply with the competition Terms and Conditions in full.
2. The closing date for correctly completed entries (submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions is 17.00 British local time on Friday 25th April 2008.
3. This competition is only open to persons aged 18 and over excluding employees and immediate relatives of employees of A1 Holdings Limited, Haymarket, Sky Sports or of their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies or any other person professionally connected with this competition or the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport series or an A1 Team taking part in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport series.
4. Only one entry per person will be accepted and/or is allowed.
5. The winner will be the first entry randomly drawn by an A1GP employee from all entries received that has answered the competition question correctly, and that has complied with the competition Terms and Conditions, and that has been validly received before the closing date referred to in paragraph 2 above. The two runners-up will be the second and third entries randomly drawn by an A1GP employee from all entries received that have answered the competition question correctly, and that has complied with the competition Terms and Conditions, and that has been validly received before the closing date referred to in paragraph 2 above.
6. The winner and/or runners-up will be notified by telephone within 2 working days of the closing date. Once the winner has been contacted and confirmed by the Promoter an announcement will be made at www.a1gp.com. The prize will then be sent by post to the winner together with a letter from the Promoter.
7. The first prize awarded to the winner of the competition is:
a) 2 x VIP tickets to A1GP Brands Hatch on Sunday 4 May 2008; and
b) 1 x Brands Hatch Gold Voucher Driving Experience day (date to be determined by Motorsports Vision).
The 2 second prizes awarded to each runner-up of the competition is an official A1 Team GBR cap signed by an A1 Team GBR driver.
8. In the event that the Promoter cannot for any reason contact any winner and/or runner-up within 48 hours of the closing date, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner and/or runner-up. Failure by a winner and/or runner-up to immediately acknowledge the telephone calls made by the Promoter shall allow the Promoter to draw another winner and/or runner-up in their absolute discretion.
9. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner and/or runner up in their absolute discretion in the event that the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that a selected winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
11. The winner and/or runners-up may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions of the competition prior to receiving their prize.
12. The Promoter can accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified. In addition the Promoter can accept no responsibility and/or liability for prizes which are lost and/or damaged in the post or whilst in transit.
13. All prizes must be taken as offered. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable for monetary value or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt the prizes do not include, without limitation, transport to and from Brands Hatch, transport to and from the venue of the Gold Voucher Driving experience or any food or drinks whilst at the Gold Voucher Driving experience. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control the Promoter is unable to provide a stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal or lesser value. All prizes are subject to the additional Terms and Conditions of the manufacturer or supplier.
14. No purchase necessary.

17. THE PROMOTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DELAY IN PERFORMING OR PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE TO PERFORM ANY OF ITS OBLIGATIONS TO THE WINNER UNDER THESE COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF SUCH DELAY OR FAILURE IS CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ITS REASONABLE CONTROL INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DELAYS, CHANGES, DISRUPTIONS, CANCELLATIONS, DIVERSIONS OR SUBSTITUTIONS HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION AS A RESULT OF WAR, TERRORIST ACTION OR THREATENED TERRORIST ACTION, STRIKES, HOSTILITIES, CIVIL COMMOTIONS, ACCIDENTS, FIRE, FLOOD OR NATURAL CATASTROPHES OR ARISING WITHOUT LIMITATION OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH (I) THE ACTIVITIES OF THIRD PARTY EVENT ORGANISERS; AND/OR (II) ANY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FLIGHTS, TRAINS, COACHES, BUSES, FERRIES, TAXIS OR CARS. T W Steel Watch competition
The rules listed below form the Terms and Conditions of the Competition. Please note that by submitting an entry, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these rules.
In addition, by submitting an entry and including your personal details on such entry, you are deemed to have read, understood and consented to personal data being processed by the Promoter (as defined below in paragraph 25) for all the purposes and to the parties included in the Data Protection Fair Processing Notice (as set out below in paragraph 26).
1. Entrants may enter the Competition by completing the Competition online entry form in full with true and accurate information including full, accurate and complete details of their name, sex, residential address, and email address. In order to validly enter the Competition, entrants are also required to comply with the Competition Terms and Conditions in full.
2. The closing date for correctly completed entries (submitted in accordance with paragraph 1) is Thursday 1st May 2008 at 09h00 British local time.
3. An entry will only be accepted by the Promoter if the information referred to in paragraph 1 has been fully and accurately completed.
4. The Competition is open to persons aged 18 and over, excluding: employees of T W Steel and immediate relatives of employees of T W Steel or of their respective parents subsidiaries or affiliated companies; employees and immediate relatives of employees of A1 Holdings Limited or of their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies; and any other person professionally connected with this Competition or the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport series or an A1 Team taking part in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport series.
5. No more than one Competition entry per person is permitted.
6. The prizes are: one TW85 TW Steel men’s watch (“the Men’s Watch”); and one TW10 TW Steel women’s watch (“the Women’s Watch”) in accordance with the terms of paragraphs 7 and 8 below. For the avoidance of doubt, the prizes consist only of the Men’s Watch and the Women’s Watch.
7. All male Competition entrants will be placed into a draw for the Men’s Watch (“the Men’s Draw”). The winner of the Men’s Draw will be the first entry randomly drawn by an A1GP employee from all entries to the Men’s Draw validly received before the closing date (as referred to in paragraph 2). The Promoter will endeavour to determine the winner on Thursday 1st May 2008 at about 12h00 British local time.
8. All female Competition entrants will be placed into a draw for the Women’s Watch (“the Women’s Draw”). The winner of the Women’s Draw will be the first entry randomly drawn by an A1GP employee from all entries to the Women’s Draw validly received before the closing date (as referred to in paragraph 2). The Promoter will endeavour to determine the winner on Thursday 1st May 2008 at about 12h00 British local time.
9. The winners will be notified by email by 17h00 British local time on Monday 5th May 2008. An announcement will also be made on the A1GP website (www.A1GP.com) on Thursday 8th May from 12h00 British local time. The prizes will then be sent by courier or first class post to the winners, together with a letter from the Promoter.

Failure by a winner to acknowledge the notification email sent by the Promoter shall allow the Promoter to draw another winner in their absolute discretion.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any delay in performing or partial or total failure to perform any of its obligations to a winner under these Competition Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control including without limitation delays, changes, disruptions, cancellations, diversions or substitutions howsoever caused including without limitation as a result of war, terrorist action or threatened terrorist action, strikes, hostilities, civil commotions, accidents, fire, flood or natural catastrophes or arising without limitation out of or in connection with the activities of third party event organisers and/or any form of transportation (including but not limited to flights, trains, coaches, buses, ferries, taxis or cars). For the avoidance of doubt, the affected winner shall be solely liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of the above.

26. The Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”) sets out certain requirements for the protection of unauthorised use or disclosure of personal data about individuals. Except to the extent that the Promoter is required or permitted by law, all personal data which the Promoter has obtained (via this Competition or otherwise) will be processed for all purposes reasonably connected with the commercial operations of the Promoter. The information may also be processed for advertising and marketing purposes and assessing your requirements and keeping you informed of products, services and events which may be of interest to you. The information may also be disclosed to:
26.1 other companies within the same group of companies as the Promoter;
26.2 other companies or organisations whose products or services we believe may be of interest to you; and
26.3 any company or organisation to whom the Promoter may transfer or sell any of their business assets.
